
PLACES TO VISIT
The Farmhouse Il Felciaione, placed prominently in front of the Lake, tucked away into Metalliferous hills and close to the medieval village Massa Marittima, is located in the wide Maremma area. The overlapping bands phytoclimatic geothermal heating and subsoil have created a very large landscape.

ACCESA LAKE
Accesa Lake is horseshoe-shaped and it is from 20 to 70 metre deep. Since the 7th century Before Christ Etruscans lived around it and exploit it to mine silver and gold. Just because of the mining activity a small village called "La Pesta" was born in the area. Nowadays it's possible to visit etrurian ruins and remains at the recently inaugurated archaeological park.
MAREMMA
Maremma is a wide area, bordering the Tyrrhenian Sea, consisting of part of Tuscany and Lazio. The enchanting and wild Maremma was lived by Etruscans and Romans before medieval settlements. The area of the Metalliferous Hills is also an area rich in mining history and characterized by the presence of Geothermal Energy.
